So many thoughts to think about

primate-ape-thinking-mimic.jpg

One thing I can say for sure is that it is a beautiful day to be alive and living comes with responsibilities. One of my top priorities has been to process our relocation plans and today brings us one step closer.

Achieving this dream has involved a lot of liquidation and sacrifice. I've had to accept that certain things will be sold and have had to move on from them.

My Splinterlands assets have largely been the sacrificed to achieve the dream but when you think about it, isn't it amazing? I've relied on assets from a play to ern game to facilitate a major project in my life. The next time someone says "play to earn is ded" I'll remind them of this.

Interestingly, I haven't actually sold everything in my collection. I keep a small stack of assets that I hope to play the long game with.

Outside of Splinterlands, GLX has also been a good source of value for my plans. My staking reward and some assets I bought during the dip have combined to make my life much easier.

Still on the topic of GLX, I have once again made another sale and once again, I'm throwing it out to the community to sort out a tracker. Having a tracker would dramatically boost market activities in the game.

Getting Closer

We're now approaching the final stages of our relocation plans. We sorted out fees, TB test and all the preliminary stuff, now its time for Visa application.

@talesfrmthecrypt was among the first to tell me about the incoming changes in UK visa immigration pertaining to moving with a dependant, so this is our one shot, and we can'tafford to waste it.

I'm going to spend pretty much the entire day sorting out the modalities and all the other related tasks that must be done. The added pressure of the change in UK immigration adds a bit more pressure and fuels the palpable anxiety that comes from a Visa application.

In any case, we're moving forward and trying to keep calm head. There's really no reason to let the pressure get to me because after playing my part, everything else is out of my control.

Knowing it is beyond me after this point doesn't exactly reduce my stress level. However, I'm very accepting of outcome and testimonies from other similar applicants gives me hope.

Anyway, after the online application, we'll be making a short trip to Abuja for the final phase and after that, we wait. All that is of course on my mind, particularly because that train has been attacked by bandits before.

Other than the Visa application, I've been having a difficult time finding a new home for the puppies. They've wrecked most of my house beyond recognition and while I love them, I really think they need a new home.

I watch videos of people with many dogs and I wonder how they manage. I'm constantly stress and on my toes because of these puppies.

It truly is wonderful to be able to see these things, where people are able to fund parts of their physical lives with the assets that they’ve worked on in a game like Splinterlands or GLG. That’s amazing!

Since you mentioned GLX, how does one transfer the asset from hive engine to the game? I have GLX tokens I need to transfer in but couldn’t figure out how to do it lol.

Good luck on the visa application! Hope it goes well and in a few short months you’ll be in England with any luck!
