( EN / DE ) Whether you celebrate Christmas in your tradition or not, you can participate in different Advent calendars on HIVE again this year. An Advent calendar is to sweeten the wait for Christmas, because it counts the days from December 1 - 24 and there are very many different variants of it.
But they all have one thing in common: you get something every day, even if it's just a little something. Because giving is also a part of our Christmas tradition.
Egal, ob du in deiner Tradition Weihnachten feierst oder nicht, kannst du auch dieses Jahr auf HIVE wieder an verschiedenen Advents Kalendern teilnehmen. Ein Adventskalender ist dazu da, die Wartezeit auf Weihnachten zu versüßen, denn er zählt die Tage vom 1. - 24. Dezember und es gibt sehr viele unterschiedliche Varianten davon.
Aber eines haben sie alle gemeinsam: Du bekommst jeden Tag etwas, auch wenn es nur eine Kleinigkeit ist. Denn das Schenken und Geben ist ja auch ein Teil unserer Weihnachts Tradition.

Well, what can I say, I am honored by this gesture of good will. I have two post payouts to wait for, yours and the one from @wrestlingdesires, so once I get both and tally up the total USD equivalent, we'll do some shopping for Mey-Yii and make sure to use all of the funds. Any excess will be confiscated by her Grandma used to buy cigarettes, alcohol, or fund gambling ventures.

Mey-Yii doesn't visit us anymore, I sense her grandma and mother have said bad things about us and now she doesn't trust us or feel safe here. It's a shame, but hopefully one day she'll be able to see outside of the twisted world her guardians provide for her. I will post all about Mey-Yii's day when it comes, so do stay tuned......

It's so sad. As a woman who wasnt lucky to have own children, I always wonder how a mother cannot apreciate and see the little wonder she got to hold in her arms and care for.
But probably it was what her mother learned from the grandmother. Now of course they try to push her in the same direction :-(
Let's hope she finds her way and contacts you, but: If for some reason you cannot help her directly, please feel free to use it for you own kids.

Update

Because of our situation with the adults of Mey-Yii's household, they have tried to poison her against us a bit, but recently Mey-Yii stopped by after nearly a month of not talking to us.

I received your post payout successfully as well as one from @wrestlingdesires, and combined it looks like I have around $11.10 USD to work with in total. That is actually enough money to do quite a bit here in Cambodia, so stay tuned for a post detailing what we'll do with these funds.

We live far away from any markets or ways to withdraw crypto, so it'll coincide with a roadtrip in the near future where we'll have a shopping opportunity.
