How My CNY Going? 🙏🍛

I just realized that this is the first Chinese New Year I haven't gone on vacation or visited with my family as I usually do. Today, I'm going to tell you about my day celebratings - from cooking delicious food for my family to the information I have about my neighbor's pet dog who comes to my house and enjoy the meal with my family every day.

My neighborhood dog sits under my husband vehicle called "Romok", which is used to transport gas lines. The reaction

It's always unpredictable what the weather will be like today, especially in the morning. We can say that it's a good day today when we just first saw the warm atmosphere. But if you really want to know what the weather will be like, you have to sit there and patiently watch it get colder. When I got up at around 5am this morning, there were no clouds in sight. I checked my closet, packed everything I'd need for the day, and went off to work. The weather was alright, it wasn't too hot.

But when around 10am came around, even though I stayed outside near my house, I didn't feel as warm anymore.

Today I was expecting some customers to come and purchase our products from the shop but unfortunately, nobody did yet. My husband just came back from delivering gaslines to customers that are far away from Takhmao to Prek Ombel and he's been sitting on a chair ever since.

Thanks to costumers 🙏

I was just prepping the meal for my husband, but I'm so sad I haven't finished cooking yet. It's not because I'm too busy - I've just been feeling dizzy due to the changes in weather here.

It's hot one moment and cold the next, making it hard to adjust. You know, when my husband delivered the gasline to a customer's house.

One of our costumers, she had prepared food for her family and saw my husband tired - she was so kind! She actually gave us a grilled duck and even packaged it nicely; I'm so thankful for her kindness. This was the best part of my day, and I wanted to share it with you.

I feel much better now, and my husband is out selling and interacting with customers so I can stay at the kitchen and make Cha Misu, which is a very popular dish for Chinese New Year in Cambodia. Most of my neighbors cook it together, but I need to make it separately since the cooking process is different. Plus, I already bought the necessary ingredients for making Cha Misu, so I can't skip cooking it this year.

Oh the both great and unexpected part of the day. I feel like the road is so empty and we should create more great atmosphere to enjoy.
